TwinMax I Carburetors Synchronizer
The TwinMax is the only carburettor synchroniser that indicates the difference in intake gas pressure in each cylinder. By balancing this pressure, you avoid performance losses, abnormal stresses on the crankshaft and bearings. The result is an engine that is stable at idle, responsive under acceleration and delivers consistent power at all engine speeds.View full details
The easiest to use.
The most accurate.
The most robust.
The best seller.
Highly recommended and worth doing.
"Well today, my Twinmax arrived and I took the plunge on trying to balance the throttle bodies on the bike. Turns out it was ridiculously easy to do (thanks to all who posted info on this forum and also on you tube). I really have to get over my apprehension of all thing mechanical, so far they've all been easier than I thought.
Anyway, after quite a few turns of the cable (I was a long way out) I now have that smooth turbine like engine back. I thought on a few rides recently that the engine was getting a bit vibey and so that's what led me to this twin max purchase. Highly recommended and worth doing."
Result: A real clock.I inaugurated my TwinMax on my "granny" R80ST. Result: a real clock, even less vibrations than before. I had managed to do a good idle synchro with needle depressometers lent by the dealer but I was less satisfied with the accelerated synchro. With the Twinmax, I had no problem doing it and the difference is noticeable.
A must for every good DIYer"When you've tried the TwinMax, its precision and above all its simplicity of use (and I'm not even talking about the fact that you can take it in your pocket to go to a friend's house for example!)... well, there's really no need to hesitate!!! And I've had mine for about ten years now and you can balance a big bi (BM or Guzzi) as well as a 4 in line or in V (my VFR) or a 3 1/2 RDLC.And I would say that it's (almost) indispensable for any good self-respecting handyman."
Victory by KO in the 1st round"The TwinMax does not have at all the same operating principle as a system with two needle dials. If the accuracy and precision of the measurement are not there with the dials, you adjust your bike with the same display but the measured vacuum is wrong, the engine is not well synchronized. With a TwinMax, you measure the difference in pressure between the two sides, so zero is indicated = perfect balance assured, especially since the sensitivity is adjustable. So victory for the TwinMax by KO from the beginning of the 1st round, I would even say, before having started the match."
Uncompromising accuracy"This is what I have, the TwinMax, and to do the 4 cylinder synchros, it takes 10 minutes including the disassembly/reassembly of the seat and tank. It's very easy to use and very accurate compared to the needle depressiometers I used before. I really don't regret my purchase."
Super easy settings"For my birthday I was given a TwinMax electronic carb synchronization box. Before, I used to synchronise my carburetors on the W650 with mercury columns that I borrowed from a fellow biker, I found the operation laborious: the liquid moved over several millimeters. With the TwinMax the adjustment is super easy, in five minutes it's done. The device is very simple: a rectangular box, two buttons and a rotary dial. You connect the two pipes to the carburetors, adjust the dial's zero and sensitivity, and then adjust the carburetor synchro screw. According to a test published in "motolégende" the adjustments are precise, it compared with a SOURIAU dyno (pro equipment)"
